Sam has spent more than 16 years in international business. Being head of European operation of a UK based Japanese corporation for 10 years, extensive experience in the conception and fulfilment of strategic plans, including setting up new companies in Germany and Turkey, a Joint venture in Serbia, Russia and South Africa, and established and developed number of businesses between Japan, Asia, all over Europe, South Africa, Turkey and Russia. Currently, as a director of Marketing Standard Limited, concentrating on assisting market entry and business development projects between Japan and Europe, as well as providing business and cultural briefings and market seminars, cooperating with both public and private sector .

Orie Miyazawa - Senior Consultant - Tokyo

Orie is based in Tokyo and has more than 15 years of experience in international business.

She had been a business advisor for a number of senior executives in Japanese corporations based in the UK, assisting their localisation and business development.

She has a BA in Marketing & Linguistics and a Masters Degree in Machine Translation Evaluation.
Her specialities are Sales and Project management, Coordination and Communications.

Dr Kamila Kawai - Marketing Director & Project Coordinator

Kamila has over 10 years of experience in Scientific Research, coordinating complex projects and being an important link between the academic field and industries across several countries throughout Japan and Europe, including Eastern and Central Europe.

Following her academic career, she worked as part of the purchasing team for one of the biggest Japanese trading houses, sourcing new products from China and Japan, and selling to Europe.

Her advanced level of research and data analysis skills allow Kamila to formulate unique reports, which create an overall picture of current market structures and the latest trends. This provides a clear idea of where our clients' product / service can fit in the market.

She specialises in Advanced Research, Complex Data Analysis, Industrial Marketing and Project Coordination.

PhD (Birmingham) in Metallurgy and Materials, MSc in Engineering Technologies. a professional member of Institute of Cast Metals Engineers, also a member of Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
